# 19 NTS Talks: Tips for Maintaining Mental Health

In the new episode of NOTTHESAMO Talks, we decided to step away a bit from our universe to have a conversation that is more than necessary for the current moment we are living in, where many people have been affected in various ways.

In episode #19 of our talks, we chatted with Célia Fadul about mental and spiritual health, and how important this is for life.

Célia holds degrees in administration, visual communication, and photography. In Brazil, she worked as a VJ producer at MTV, a writer for Elle magazine, and in the production of advertising films. She then went to Paris to work in fashion show productions with Francesco Smalto, Lanvin, and as a producer for fashion magazines like Biba and Votre Maison.

After years living abroad, Célia met the Maoris, the indigenous people of New Zealand, in 2014. Since then, she has been working as a Maori therapist and helping people.

Exercises and other tips below:

*TO CREATE A FIREBALL THAT CLEANS US- WE STRETCH OUR FINGERS UNTIL IT HURTS AND RELAX. THEN WE PLACE ONE HAND UNDER THE OTHER, FORMING THE FIREBALL AND FEELING THIS BALL. AFTERWARD, WE BRING IT TO OUR BODY FROM HEAD TO TOES AND CLEANSE OURSELVES.

*DRINKING WATER TO CLEANSE AND ENERGIZE THE CHAKRAS- WE HOLD A GLASS WITH BOTH HANDS, CLOSE OUR EYES, AND BREATHE
FOR THE FIRST SIP, WE SWIRL WATER ALL AROUND THE MOUTH AND TEETH WITH THE TONGUE, THINKING OF THE RED COLOR. WE SWALLOW DIRECTLY TO THE SACRAL CHAKRA. THIS CHAKRA IS LOCATED IN THE PERINEUM AREA, AND WE BREATHE WITH OUR BELLY, IMAGINING A RED LIGHT, AND EXHALE. THIS CHAKRA IS RELATED TO THE ADRENAL GLANDS, WHICH VITALIZE THE PHYSICAL BODY.
