ÖUS announces new Gato Preto collection
To celebrate the Black Cat, the first full-length skate video from ÖUS, the brand will launch a namesake collection based on the visual identity developed by Noemie Creux and Luan Banzai.
Directed by Thales Banzai and narrated by rapper Rodrigo OGI, the video begins like a short film that draws an analogy between the life of the skateboarder and a black cat. Both survive in the street environment, traverse public spaces, invade private spaces, scare pedestrians, and disrupt traffic.

Filmed over the last 24 months in dozens of cities in Brazil and abroad, the video features parts from Dwayne Fagundes, Filipe Ortiz, Gian Naccarato, João Gabriel, L7nnon, Lucas Marques, Patrick Vidal, Rafael Eduardo, Wellington Zilotti and an introduction by Atali Mendes on the team. The direction of the skate parts was done and edited by JP Romero.

The collection includes a jacket, regular and long-sleeve t-shirts. All products incorporate the colors black, yellow, and white, and feature the logo present in the video along with excerpts from OGI's narrative. The lookbook photographed by Robson Sakamoto features rapper Zudizilla, author of the mixtape Do the Right Thing.

The launch takes place on 12/05 (Thursday), on the site of ÖUS. Check out the full lookbook below.
