The ÖUS brand remains true to its Brazilian DNA with the launch of the new collection titled Jaguaribe. Since the brand's launch in 2008, partnerships with artists have been established, as well as a pursuit for innovation in materials.

One of ÖUS's mottos is to prioritize local production. All of the brand's products are made in Brazil and, since 2018, the production of footwear has migrated to a factory in Brejo Santo, in Ceará.

The artisanal, artistic, and cultural movements of the region inspired the creative team behind the brand, which found in the Jaguaribe region a hub for artisanal hammocks and the exact place where the famous colored sand art in bottles was created.

“The region was chosen for its northeastern glass art with colored sand (ciclogravura), from the cliffs by the beaches and the hammocks made in the city of Jaguaruana, everything connected.”

says Anthony Nathan, product design manager at ÖUS.

The collection includes sneakers, caps, t-shirts, jackets, and hammocks, with these being artisanal, made from 100% recycled cotton. One of the sneakers in the release was also produced with fabric from the region's artisans' looms.

The first Jaguaribe collection, which consists of the clothing line, is already available on the ecommerce of the brand and in selected stores. The sneakers and hammocks will be on sale starting from October 7th. Check out the photos below.
