adidas and BAPE launch new collaboration
Adidas just launched a capsule collection in collaboration with the Japanese BAPE, merging American football and streetwear culture. The line was developed to pay homage to Super Bowl LIII, one of the biggest sports events of 2019.
BAPE has been an icon of streetwear for over 25 years. Born in Tokyo, it is known for its iconic design items, patterns, and original characters.
Known for being a trendsetter in American football culture, adidas challenges the status quo. The brand's extraordinary releases push boundaries and increasingly provide insights into sneaker and fashion trends.
The collection includes clothing pieces and reinterpretations of classic sneaker models. The adidas by BAPE Football Jersey centers around the theme of “battle uniforms.” Metallic gold plays a key role in the collection to highlight a winner. The BAPE logo, in white and blue, is presented on the shoulders and accentuated with adidas' iconic three stripes on the sleeves.
Adidas by BAPE Training Tights are made to contour the body and support dynamic movements with a feeling of elasticity. The BAPE camouflage completes the entire piece. Adizero 8.0 Cleats were specifically designed for the fastest American football players, blending the BAPE CAMO print with a sneaker profile. The sock-style lining provides quality cushioning. An overlay in TPU technology offers protection and durability, and the studs are powered by a SPRINTFRAME plate with SPRINTSTUDS that provides speed, resistance, and traction.
The BAPE Z.N.E. Hoodie brings style and comfort, with timeless BAPE aesthetics. Made from double-knit fabric with lining, the hood features the BAPE ® ABC CAMO print and SHARK graphic.
Adidas by BAPE UltraBOOST brings the iconic BAPE camouflage with style, comfort, and high-performance technology for the ultimate running experience. The Primeknit upper hugs the foot and provides adaptive and super-light support, while BOOST technology delivers a more responsive energy return on the market.
