The three new creations from Seiko Prospex celebrate the 60th anniversary of Seiko's first diving watch, launched in 1965 and responsible for inaugurating a tradition that consolidated the brand as a reference in innovation, reliability, and design in the watchmaking universe. Since then, Seiko has enhanced its models to meet the demands of professional divers, in a constant quest to raise safety, readability, and robustness standards.

To mark this date, the brand presents three special editions that will be part of the Prospex collection. The highlight is the Marinemaster SLA081, equipped with the new Caliber 8L45, developed with the proprietary alloy Spron, which guarantees superior resistance and a power reserve of 72 hours. Inspired by iconic models from 1968 and 1975, the watch features a monobloc titanium case resistant to 600 meters, a blue gradient dial reminiscent of the Shinkai ("deep sea") and high-precision finishes. This commemorative edition is limited to just 600 units.

The other two models revive Seiko's underwater legacy with designs inspired by the historic watches from 1965 and 1968. The Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver’s SPB511 features a silver dial in reference to the brand's first diver, and is equipped with the Caliber 6R55. Meanwhile, the Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT SPB509 boasts a blue dial and the Caliber 6R54 with GMT function, allowing for independent adjustment of a second time zone. Both offer a power reserve of 72 hours, water resistance of 300 meters, and come in a limited edition of 6,000 units each.
