ASICS announces the GEL-1130 model, learn all about the launch.

Drawing on its past to map the future, ASICS SportStyle announces the GEL-1130™ model - a remixed version of a classic silhouette built on ASICS performance and advanced technology with a modern design.

Part of the GEL-1000™ lineage, the model was inspired by the design of the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 shoe, as well as the resurgence of footwear seen in the late 2000s. The focus of the GEL-1000™ series was to expand the advanced designs that ASICS was already creating. This new model fused that history with modern streetwear aesthetics, allowing the shoe to straddle the line between sportswear and leisure.

The campaign aims to highlight the versatility of the footwear, spending time with influencers from São Paulo, allowing them to showcase how the GEL-1130™ sneaker fits into each person's unique style.

Along with the OG-inspired color, there are three other executions of the GEL-1130™, with eight different colors available. Kiko Kostadinov Studios and the ASICS SportStyle development team designed a version of the model that features synthetic leather and technical mesh for a more streamlined look, with color palettes aligned with the label's esoteric aesthetic. The third color is a women's style inspired by Sukajan (souvenir jackets) and features a satin trim with a metallic sheen.

The final style is a men's variation of the GEL-1130™ sneaker, available in stores and e-commerce from ASICS on November 11. The price is R$ 599.90.
