Committed to supporting and further developing craftsmanship, the Italian brand is launching the Accademia Labor et Ingenium - craftsmanship and creativity in Latin. The Accademia will be located between the Bottega's workshop in Montebello Vicentino and a new space at the brand's manufacturing site in Povolaro Dueville.

There will be 50 students per year, who will learn from five master artisans through training activities, workshops, and courses. Students will have guaranteed employment with the company upon graduation. Thus, the school expands Bottega Veneta's connection with the traditional workshop, where a collective of artisans honed their skills and passed on knowledge from one generation to the next.

"Exceptional skill and creativity are essential to our brand and to the heritage of our home region in Veneto. With the Accademia, we take the collective ethos at the heart of Bottega Veneta to a new level, building upon our rich history of sharing skills and innovation to nurture the artisans of the future." - Leo Rongone, CEO of Bottega.

"As a young apprentice at Bottega Veneta, I learned from the experience, passion, and precision of the more experienced artisans," said Negretto, one of the longest-serving employees at Bottega Veneta. "It is a great honor and responsibility to pass this unique knowledge on to a new generation and to continue the great tradition of the bottega throughout its community, creativity, and cultural heritage."

The school will also offer enhancement and retraining curricula for existing employees of Bottega. In fact, the first external collaboration of the Accademia has already begun with a tailored 7-week masterclass in partnership with the Università Iuav di Venezia. The Creative Craft Process Training Course: Bag Design and Product Development will offer eight selected students in the Iuav network a program of classroom, virtual, and workshop learning.
