Check out how the 10th anniversary party of SneakersBR went.
On last Sunday (27/11), SneakersBR had its first early celebration of its 10th anniversary.
The event, held at Via Matarazzo, featured various attractions, including a buy and sell fair for sneakers, clothing and accessories, an exhibition of rare sneakers (which in total amounted to R$250,000), a timeline of adidas EQT, the NMD_STUDIO exhibition (where it was possible to remix your own version of the song "No Corre"), a pocket show by Drik Barbosa, the exhibition "Women Walk Strong", a place to print your exclusive tote bag from the event, the "Symmetry in Chaos" exhibition by photographer JP Faria, a preview of our upcoming collab with the brand OLDMASTERS, performances by DJs Sants, MINIZU, Viní, and BADSISTA and, to conclude the night in style, the international attraction Lil Silva took over the turntables.
Among the sneakers displayed in the environment simulating a jewelry store, with lasers and smoke everywhere, we noticed the presence of rarities such as What the Dunk, END. x Saucony Shadow 5000 Burger, New Balance Toothpaste, Y-3 Qasa, adidas Futurecraft, among others.
In the buy and sell fair, items such as the first collab between Ronnie Fieg and Bape, Supreme underwear and socks, and national brands like Storvo and Bolovo were available to the public.
Outside, there was the Rider space, showcasing the already released slippers and the brand's upcoming collabs with the stores Guadalupe and Cartel 011.
During the event, a zine was produced depicting the main happenings at the location, highlighting influential people and works in the national scene and in the context of the celebration.
For a first event, the friends from SneakersBR ended the year in great style. Now we can only wait and keep an eye on the upcoming celebrations of a decade of what is undoubtedly the largest sneaker culture magazine in Brazil.
