Meet the Lap Skate Guitar - by Stereotank

The designer duo Marcelo Ertorteguy and Sara Valente, from Stereotank, envisioned what the intersection between music and skate would be like in practice by creating the Lap Skate Guitar.

Using a smooth wooden skateboard as the base, the duo added tuning pegs, a truss rod, frets, pickups, a volume knob, a bridge, and a jack input. The electric guitar works normally, producing sounds similar to those of a Hawaiian guitar, with similar quality.
