Get to know the brand PLEASURES
From Los Angeles to the world, PLEASURES kicks off its activities by presenting its winter 2016 line.
Originating from California, the brand PLEASURES was revealed by Alex James and Vlad Elkin through a pop-up store in a gallery in Los Angeles in June 2015. These urban style moguls are recognized for their t-shirts and sweatshirts with bold and controversial graphics. With punk inspiration, the brand's philosophy is to create clothing based on feelings and emotions experienced in past experiences, whether they are pleasant memories or troubled moments.
In its presentation Lookbook titled "3.0," PLEASURES features graphic pieces reflecting the essence of the brand in the punk and youth culture of the 90s. The line includes t-shirts, a shirt in collaboration with Dickies, and headwear products.
The prints used in the collection carry very interesting meanings, such as the Sick n Tired t-shirt, inspired by the cover of the EP by the band Minor Threat, the cap with the Compact Discs logo, and the products featuring the Reject print that shows the letter from the MoMA museum sent to artist Andy Warhol.
All products are already available on the website of the brand and range from $30 to $70.
