Giving time for the mind to think. That was the biggest reflection of this week. I had various creative problems for which I couldn't find solutions, and while driving for 10 hours, suddenly, dozens of solutions appeared. The real problem was: I was filling all the gaps of my day consuming something, without allowing space for daydreaming, idleness, or even boredom. I think I make this mistake frequently and I imagine many of you do too. I have been trying to be more of a 'curator' and less of a 'consumer.' And that consists of choosing what I want to see, watch, listen to, and ignoring the rest.
And here is my curation of things from the last few days, I hope you like it.

WHAT I AM READING:
Millionaire Fastlane
I have mentioned a few times that I always feel a bit hesitant to share somewhat 'coach' content 😂, but I think it's also necessary to open a dialogue about money and business. This book has a cool central idea and some nonsense in between that I have been trying to overlook. But in summary, it says there are 3 paths:
Sidewalk: People who live in the present without planning for the financial future, usually leading to debt and financial insecurity.
Slowlane: The conventional path that involves studying, getting a good job, saving, and investing in financial markets, waiting for wealth to arrive after decades.
Fastlane: The fastest path, focused on entrepreneurship, creating value, and leveraging businesses to generate substantial wealth in a shorter period.
Then he details the methods for the 'Fastlane':
The Commandments of the Fastlane:
Need: Your product or service must meet a significant need in the market.
Entry: Businesses that require little initial investment usually have a lot of competition.
Control: You must have total control over your business, not depend on others.
Scalability: Your business must have the potential to grow without being limited by time or location.
Time: The business must be able to operate independently of your personal time.
WHAT I AM LISTENING TO:
I really like Tems and was looking forward to hearing this album; all the singles she released before were musically and visually great. And the album is indeed very good, Nigerian music is very rich. Highlights include Get It Right, Wickedest, Ready, and Gangsta. Besides Love Me Jeje and U & Me that had already been released. Her Tiny Desk concert that came out recently is also very good.
"if matisse made house music." this is the description of Berlioz's sound.
There are some songs that I don't love, but it's a good album. Ants' work is very consistent and the strong point is the music videos; this one is one of the best clips I've seen this year:

THINGS I AM WATCHING:
I got to know CNRPR because he runs several trap videos on film and they are all very good, but he also has a body of original short films and this is one of them. Idea, script, editing, dialogues, etc., all very well done. I miss people developing this type of work on YouTube.
DazedThe Wave (Director’s Cut) | Nike x Patta
I was looking for something else and found this video that I don't remember seeing at the time. A 10-minute video from Nike with Patta for the launch of the AirMax 1. So cool.
TWEETS OF THE WEEK:
For today, that’s it. Whenever you want, send your discoveries and recommendations to the IG of Cosmopolitan Boys. Dialogue and culture will always be more important than any brand, and that is why I write this here.
