Present in the market since 1966, originally under the name "Van Doren Rubber Co.", the brand was marketed in stores whose facades displayed the name House of Vans, a title now designated to the event that brings together art, music, street culture, fashion, and action sports in a single environment aimed at celebrating creative expression.
Currently, the House of Vans is present in nine metropolises around the world, namely New York, London, Austin, Toronto, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, and São Paulo.
In São Paulo, the event will take place between March 16 and 18, at Casa das Caldeiras, bringing a schedule full of exhibitions, workshops, cultural activities, and musical attractions that translate the Vans concept.
The opening of the party will be held on March 16, at a closed event only for invited guests, bringing press, opinion leaders, and special guests for an exclusive experience about the "Off the Wall" universe, with multicultural workshops, DJs, and a show by the New Zealand band Black Seeds.
Continuing the celebration, the second day of the event is open to the public and will feature live performances by the athletes who are part of the Vans skate team, including the Brazilian Pedro Barros, as well as customization workshops for shoes and boards, exhibitions, graffiti, music, and gastronomy.
For the closing day, House of Vans São Paulo features a show by the Californian band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on the main stage and a DJ Nyack performance in the "basement", in addition to the fixed attractions from the previous days.
