HYKE and adidas Originals return in a new SS16 collection
Existing for about two years, the partnership between adidas Originals and HYKE has been yielding good results since it was established. Together, the brands develop collections that blend the sportswear of the German brand with the concept of heritage and evolution adopted by HYKE as philosophy.
For the spring/summer 2016 season, the Japanese brand of designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode presents a modern and clean aesthetic to the already well-known adidas products, as well as more unusual pieces, such as the asymmetrical dress with only one sleeve.
The clothing line consists of windbreakers, dresses, t-shirts, skirts, loose-fitting pants, and leggings, featuring a simple color palette made up of white and navy.
For footwear, HYKE revives the iconic Micropacer in its most minimalist version to date, displayed with an almost monochromatic upper, in blue or white versions. New silhouettes were also introduced alongside reinterpretations, such as the Haillet Hi, and slide sandals like the Adillete.
The collection will be launched abroad in the coming weeks, unfortunately without any information about sales in Brazil.
