'Modular Sound Sculptures': AMENBREAK debuts an unprecedented collection

The debut of the brand arrives as a silent manifesto about identity, memory, and cultural heritage. Titled AW25 Modular Sound Sculptures, the collection immerses itself in the aesthetics of sample culture, reinterpreting the past through musical and visual references that traverse generations. Starring Jubba and Maycon Felix, the editorial showcases pieces that seem more like archives of a lived — or rescued — story. Moreover, Ciao, the video director, captures the intimacy of the models in an environment filled with cultural elements.

With roots in vintage and workwear, each of the 11 pieces functions as a fragment of textile memory. Jackets and tote bags in lambskin leather, pants with .925 silver hardware, graphic t-shirts, oversized sweatshirts, and embroidered caps make up the mix. All of them result from meticulous studies of composition, texture, and dyeing, delivering an aesthetic that balances sobriety with contemporary rebellion.

NTS: How did the idea of creating the brand come about and what was the inspiration behind the project?

The @amen___break is born from the junction of fashion and sample culture. The project is inspired by the story behind the breakbeat that originated musical genres such as jungle and drum n' bass. Even half a century after its release, the "Amen Break" remains relevant, and is the most sampled music snippet to this day. The act of sampling goes beyond research and discovery: it is the act of re-signifying cultural elements from the past, bringing them into the present moment, breaking the barriers of time.

NTS: Could you share what the process of the first campaign launched was like and what message you wanted to convey to the public?

The AW25 collection campaign titled 'Modular Sound Sculptures' is a study on the exchange of references between two generations. Starring @jubbasam and @omayconfelix, the editorial portrays the intimate character of the human relationship with music, directed by @soaressssssssssssssss and shot by @iosolini. A feature video directed by @ihateciao depicts the intimacy of the models in an environment filled with cultural elements that reference the past of design and music history as a rebellious contemporary manifesto.

NTS: Are there any prospects for new projects for the brand this year? Is there any launch or news you would like to share?

Some things are still in development… A zine with photos from the campaign and details about the collection processes. A pack of thematic stickers. Different versions of the leather products. Recently, @mochakk performed at Time Warp using some pieces from this collection. It’s just the beginning. Things are still unfolding!
