Nike and CBF present the uniforms of the Brazilian women's national team without the five stars.

To celebrate the achievements of the women who have built the rich history of the Women's National Team over the years and inspire a new generation of athletes. It is with this motto that Nike and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) launch this Friday, 11/27, the uniforms of the Brazilian women's national team that, for the first time, feature the new CBF crest, exclusive to the sport, without the stars that symbolized the achievements of the men's team.

“The new jersey of the women's national team is a great opportunity to inspire a whole new generation of girls who dream of playing football. Removing the stars from the jersey is a powerful and impactful message in itself, which is why our focus will be to explore the role of the national team in the imagination of all who dream of wearing the yellow jersey. The Brazilian women's team may not have a star on the jersey, but their achievements are historic and worthy of celebration,” says Duda Luizelli, Coordinator of National Teams at the Brazilian Football Confederation.

“The removal of the five stars represents a great step for us women who love football. We value the weight of the most respected jersey in the world, but we write our own story. Celebrating our achievements is strengthening women's football and laying the foundation for future Debinhas, Andressinhas, Adrianas, and Bias to be the rule, not the exception,” says Debinha, forward of the Brazilian national team, who stars in the campaign for the new uniforms alongside Bia Zaneratto, Adriana, and Andressinha.

The collection, launched in 2019 for the World Cup in France, was created from studies and exchanges of information with professional and amateur players. The result is a special set of pieces dedicated to high-performance athletes, for daily wear, and to all football fans. The jerseys feature a secret inscription, a surprise from Nike in homage to the Women's National Team: “Warrior Women of Brazil” – an inspiration to win both on and off the field. Additionally, addressing one of the main requests from the athletes, one of the novelties is the fit of the shorts, which has an innovative cut and is ideal for playing football by women.

The jerseys, without the stars, are available on Nike.com and in the entire market starting from 11/27.
