The sportswear focused on running continues to be the theme of the collab. This time, Takahashi also drew inspiration from the trails to enhance the functionality of the products.

The designer was inspired by the runners of the 1970s, when running stopped being just a competitive sport and became a pursuit of well-being.

Takahashi is known for being a runner and claims that his great ideas come to him while practicing the sport on the street.

The centerpiece of the collection is the Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail sneaker. The silhouette was presented in two colorways: the first combining yellow, white, and brown; while the second mixes red, blue, and white. Both feature a rose design on their upper.

The design was entirely thought out according to the anatomy of the foot. A heat mapping was performed, placing overlays in areas where the foot needs support, leaving the areas where the temperature rose to be as free as possible.

The upper system has a mesh that repels water but also absorbs quickly. The laces were placed according to the bones of the foot.

All pieces from the Nike Gyakusou line are already available at nike.com and at the Nike Store on Oscar Freire.
