Nike reveals collaborations with sacai, Off-White™, UNDERCOVER, and AMBUSH for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Nike has joined four international style icons to create new expressions of sports at a time when the world comes together for the biggest sporting event on the planet, in Japan.

The sport-inspired collections were created in collaboration with Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH©; Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER; Chitose Abe, of sacai; and Virgil Abloh of Off-White. Each of them celebrates unique ways of expressing oneself through sports. This group of designers represents the incomparable visual of athletes and their sportswear. Individually, each designer approached the theme from a different perspective, always within the broad spectrum of sports.

The initiative as a whole represents the power of unity in sports – a spark that can awaken imagination, countless possibilities, and a lot of energy. Whether flirting with the limits of sports culture, addressing the rebellious spirit of those who break barriers, creating new archetypes, or honoring the excitement of sports fans, all these visions come together to honor the intentional practice of moving the body.

• The Nike x Off-White collection is a bold celebration of the audience that watches sporting events: it combines art with a futuristic interpretation of high-performance apparel.

• The Nike x UNDERCOVER clothing collection mixes vintage basketball models with the unmatched Japanese streetball culture, celebrating the debut of the 3x3 basketball category in Tokyo.

• The Nike x AMBUSH collection supercharges high-performance clothing and propels the world of sports with colors inspired by Tokyo and high-speed style.

• Chitose Abe speaks about the Nike x sacai collection: “The sacai collection is inspired by classic and traditional models. The pieces combine contrasting textures and fabrics, creating unexpected, unique, and original forms and silhouettes.”
