The new collection from Another Place is presented at Casa de Criadores.
In their new collection, 'I FEEL LIKE LOVING YOU TODAY', Another Place brings the aspirations of Generation Z and a portrait of the transformations that the internet proposes to its natives. It is a questioning of the aesthetic construction of these young people and how they behave in front of social networks. And especially, about how basic pieces with straight lines can become “new items” through the styling proposed genuinely and creatively by each person. And, of course, from the record made in different situations.
Last Tuesday (07/24) during its second fashion show at Casa de Criadores, the brand brought to the runway - whether through the prints of its pieces, gadgets, smartphones, and headphones - the need for people to document their daily lives through real-time content. As a teaser for the show, Another Place created its own digital model, Adam, a character that illustrated the brand's social media during this period. Since its conception, the character questions the creation of a “digital life” and how other “online” characters have become influential on social networks today.
Staying true to its DNA, 'I FEEL LIKE LOVING YOU TODAY', this gender-neutral collection features a traditional color palette in black and white - so characteristic of the brand - and launches items in yellow and silver. Asymmetry, body-hugging designs, and some pieces with more volume on top propose a new urban uniform. The choice of fabrics also refers to this construction - denim, 100% cotton, Tech (Vicunha), and Recycled Sweatshirt (Texprima). And for the first time, the brand brings graphic t-shirts whose print was developed to be photographed in “selfies” in the mirror.
The collection is already on sale on the website of the brand.
