Osklen Plans to Expand its Stores to the American Market
In an expansion phase, Osklen now aims to enter the American market for real.
After a not very successful venture in Italy, the Carioca brand is betting its chips on the North American territory. In addition to the store in SoHo - located at 97 Wooster St. - the brand plans to open another 10 stores in the United States, starting with a new flagship in NYC and another in Los Angeles.
For this, a budget of $5 million has been allocated and a deadline until 2020, with the new stores in NY and LA expected to be inaugurated in the next 12 months.
Osklen has been present in the international market for 12 years, with stores in Miami, New York, Tokyo, Punta del Leste, and Mykonos, Greece. In Brazilian soil, the brand already has 81 stores and an e-commerce, which also plans to expand to abroad.
The brand's investment also includes offices and a showroom to facilitate and complement the operation.
