Piet presents the campaign for the Chaotical collection
Founded in 2012 by designer Pedro Andrade, Piet is a minimalist brand that seeks to distance itself from labels imposed by society. Translating the lifestyle of major urban centers with sophistication, its experimental and always unusual creations transcend the boundaries of gender, making Piet a desirable brand among young opinion leaders and especially for those seeking quality and exclusivity.
The Chaotical collection portrays the balance between order and chaos. In its sixth collection, Pedro aims to depict the chaotic reality of contemporary life, where small variations at a certain point in a system can lead to events of unimaginable proportions. Always inspired by youth, Piet brings a collection that unexpectedly retrieves elements referencing important social and musical movements, with contrasting pieces representing order and disorder.
The presented line features a destroyed knitwear that contrasts with the high technology of the prints, produced in three different techniques, including photo transfer, a technique developed by Pedro Andrade.
The Chaotical campaign was photographed in locations in New York, and the collages made by art director João Henrique Correia blend digital and analog photos taken by Alex Batista. The models are Lucas Cristino and Iago Santibanez, both Brazilian residents of the USA.
The first delivery of the collection is for sale at Cartel 011 and will soon be available on Piet's e-commerce as well.
