POLITICS X SAUCONY BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS PT. 1 - 'THE CANNON'

Nov 5, 2015

-

Two hundred years ago, the Battle of New Orleans was one of the final chapters of the War of 1812 between the Americans and the British. A key part of General Andrew Jackson's defense against the British was a huge cannon, weighing about 3 tons and painted sky blue to camouflage the weapon. Surviving the test of time, it is still on display in Louisiana.

Inspired by this battle, Sneaker Politics and Saucony used the Courage silhouette, made of turquoise suede, with a gold detail on the tongue. The model comes with a commemorative box and 3 laces (white, black, and red, and blue)  and the first 50 buyers also received 3 pins (cannon, the P logo, and Jackson).

The model was released on October 30 at sneakerpolitics.com
