Founded in 2003 in Japan as part of the DLX Tokyo company, Bedwin & the Heartbreakers brings a lot of American heritage to its repertoire, reinterpreted in a contemporary way.

Masafumi "Bebetan" Watanabe, the designer behind the brand, influenced by the timeless aesthetic of tailoring and brands like Stussy, designed Bedwin with what he refers to as post-streetwear in mind, targeting a mature and more discerning consumer.

After several previous collaborations with adidas Originals, Bedwin & the Heartbreakers used the renowned NMD platform to express its concept and identity. The two colorways that make up the partnership feature fine and discreet vertical stripes throughout the upper, reviving the heritage of English tailoring through the pattern known as chalk stripe.

The design of the upper in sock fit and the already renowned Boost sole have been preserved. On the stitched band at the heel, we find the name of the Japanese brand repeated, in addition to the label displayed on the tongue.

Available in black and gray, the NMD Bedwin & The Heartbreakers will be available for sale starting this Saturday (11.26), at the adidas Originals stores in São Paulo  and Rio de Janeiro (Rua Oscar Freire, 678 and Rua Garcia d’Ávila, 66, respectively), and will also be sold on adidas' e-commerce platform.
