Racionais Mc's will release a movie telling their story

The rap collective Racionais Mc's will release a film telling the story of the group's beginnings.

Founded in 1988, it brought lyrics depicting the daily life of a citizen from the outskirts and messages about violence in the country and crimes. The group is considered one of the most relevant and influential in Brazil.

According to Mano Brown, the leader of Racionais Mc's, the documentary will recover stories and show anonymous people who were and are very important in the group's journey.

The film will be directed by Juliana Vicente and is scheduled to premiere by the end of 2016.
