Rider Sessions fosters the music scene during isolation.
Social distancing, a global direction in the fight against the coronavirus, has primarily unsettled those who are fans of street culture.
Thinking about this, Rider, a footwear brand connected to the universe of design and youth culture, is launching this week the Rider Sessions, a program aimed at entertaining and inspiring young creators who are currently seeking a source of creativity from within their homes. The Sessions will be broadcasted three times a week, live on the brand's Instagram , and will promote the music scene through exclusive pocket shows with artists that reflect Brazilian cultural diversity.
The first live session will be shown this Wednesday at 10 PM, featuring the revelation of Rio's trap scene, Ebony (@baddiebony). At the same time on Friday, Jé Santiago (@jovemsanti), a member of the group Recayd Mob, will perform songs from Bagulho é o Trap, his latest solo album, and to end the week, the young woman from São Paulo Onnika (@souonnika) will showcase her talent at 4 PM. The project will take place throughout the entire month of April, and a new lineup will be launched each week.

The action, which seeks to encourage the public to stay at home, aligns with the support for the cause announced by Grupo Grendene, which owns the Rider brand. The company will donate around 250,000 protection kits to healthcare professionals for the health departments of Ceará and Rio Grande do Sul, starting in Sobral (CE) and Farroupilha (RS), where the units that will produce the materials are located, extending to other cities in the states as per the criteria of the respective Health Departments. The kits will consist of lab coats, caps, foot protectors, and face masks.
