Supreme announced today a new capsule collection inspired by the band Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath was formed in England in 1968, initially with the intention of being a Blues Rock group, by Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bill Ward. The band is considered one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal, bringing lyrics that reference occultism and social critiques.
The new collaborative collection features prominently a trucker jacket that displays on the back the cover of the band's first album, along with t-shirts printed with scenes from the "Iron Man" clip, phrases from the song "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", among others.
The complete line consists of short and long sleeve t-shirts, hockey jerseys, sweatshirts, crewnecks, parkas, denim jackets, caps, and patches.
The Supreme x Black Sabbath capsule collection is scheduled to launch on March 31 in the NY, LA, London, and Paris stores. In Japan, the line will be on sale on April 2.
