Technology and functionality define the new GYAKUSOU collection by Jun Takashi for Nike.
With nearly 10 years, the GYAKUSOU collection from UNDERCOVER founder Jun Takashi for Nike comes with a delivery full of technology and functionality.
In this new collection, Takashi aimed to blend high-performance clothing with the urban landscape. This forms, in a way, a symbol between fluid movement and a static environment, a desire of his artistic vision.
The collaboration includes clothing designed for easy portability as well as garments made from body-engineered materials to ensure better functionality.

The Transform JKT, as the name suggests, transforms the jacket by opening the front part of the garment and rolling it entirely into a pocket. The Gyakusou version of the jacket features a lightweight material that protects runners from wind and rain, while the softness of the Dri-Fit base is developed to absorb sweat.
A second jacket, the Lightweight JKT, employs skin temperature maps to properly ensure maximum breathability through small holes made with lasers.
The men's pants and women's shorts are made with a scientifically produced mesh (based on vibration maps) that reduces seams and delivers the needed better compression. Completing the collection are two sneakers: Nike Vaporfly 4% and Nike Pegasus Turbo.
The Nike GYAKUSOU SP19 collection will be launched today (March 28) in Brazil and you can already find it on the Nike e-commerce, at the Nike store on Oscar Freire, and at Cartel 011.
