All the album covers made by Virgil Abloh
Before launching Off-White and becoming creative director at Louis Vuitton, Virgil had a whole journey at the beginning of the 2000s as a creative - RSVP Gallery, Pyrex Vision, and Kanye West's DONDA agency were some of the names Abloh worked with. During his time with Kanye at DONDA, he created some of the most classic album covers.
A classic example is the cover of Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and also that of Watch the Throne (by Jay-Z and West) - officially designed by Riccardo Tisci and created under the supervision of Virgil. All the artworks have elements that we can easily trace back to him: from classical Caravaggio art for Westside Gunn, to surrealist butterflies for Lil Wayne and inspirations from industrial graphic design for Pusha T and Lil Uzi Vert's albums.
