In a commemorative collaboration, ASICS teamed up with designer Sean Wotherspoon and the store Atmos for the launch of a limited edition that brings back memories of Los Angeles and Tokyo.

The model chosen to celebrate the collaboration is the birthday boy GEL-LYTE III, which turns 30 years old in 2020. The new model is named ‘ASICS x Atmos x Sean Wotherspoon GEL-LYTE ™ III OG’. The shoes are colorful, made of corduroy, and each foot is different from the other. The right one is reminiscent of Los Angeles, with bright and floral tones, a trademark of Sean Wotherspoon. The left one features the design of Tokyo's scenery, streets, and urban elements.

Personalization is key when it comes to the new model. The shoes come with five different colored ASICS Stripes, as well as patches from Sean Wotherspoon and Atmos that allow customization of the silhouette.

Corduroy, another signature of Wotherspoon's design, is applied to the upper, giving the model a vintage touch - while the GEL ™ logo on the heel also features a removable panel, revealing a hidden message.

The launch was confirmed for this Friday, the 21st, with sales only at Guadalupe and Your ID in sizes 34 to 44 for R﹩ 699.99.
