The first House of Vans São Paulo party took place yesterday (16.03), celebrating 50 years of the Californian brand, in an event that promises to be a milestone for Vans Brazil.

The first night of the event was an edition exclusively for friends & family, featuring workshops related to customizing skateboards and shoes, as well as a screen printing workshop, a makeup area, live painting, and various sneakers on display.

The shoe customization workshop featured the Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and Sleep-On models, all made of white canvas, ready to be worked on. To participate, it was necessary to take a number and wait for the scheduled time.
After the end of the session, participants could take home the sneakers they customized.

The Cine Vans screened, throughout the night, videos from the "The Story of Vans" campaign, sharing details about the brand's history and the opinions of some of its athletes on what Off the Wall means.
The makeup workshop provided VIP treatment for women at the event. The task was handled by the German cosmetics company Kryolan, which has been in the market for over 60 years.

The board customizations workshop took place in the basement, next to Cine Vans, giving guests the opportunity to customize their Vans skateboards with their own hands. After completing it, the customizer had the option to varnish the skateboard and take it home.

The opening night also featured a reggae show by the New Zealand band Black Seeds, one of the strongest highlights of the event.
At the end of the party, guests received a gift bag containing a House Of Vans t-shirt, a printed zine, a checkered notebook, a Sk8-Hi keychain, a poster, and two stickers.
