Get to know the Project of the Brazilian Magazine "Fort"

Nov 30, 2015

-

Conceived in 2013, the magazine Fort is an independent project, published once a year, that brings images from the young male universe.

Without borders and with a vision that escapes the everyday, the publication emphasizes male behavior and physiology through photographs, texts, and interviews, conducted with a perspective that evades the precepts of fashion and conduct.

In its second edition, the magazine is divided into four parts, where the first (and largest) is dedicated to the photographic and documentary work of the male universe; the second features interviews and conversations with artists involved in the world behind the magazine; the third carries content on behavioral fashion, emphasizing the authorial work of the photographer and presenting a view of fashion that strays from conventional standards; and the fourth, in turn, brings photographic accounts of travels and works done by the photographers outside their usual field.

In its final stretch, the magazine relies on the support of collaborators to reach the printing cost and, finally, be published.
To contribute to the project, access the Fort page on Catarse.
Remember that each contribution has its value rewarded in various forms, such as copies of the magazine, posters, t-shirts, and even printed photos.
