Havaianas and Market bring versatility and create a new design of sandals that turn into puffer sneakers.

The second co-creation of Havaianas and Market brings an unprecedented design, the Havaianas Zip Top is basically a flip-flop that turns into a sneaker. With a waterproof upper, the launch is a co-creation of the founder and creative director of Market, Mike Cherman, with designer Daniel Bailey, and features a zipper along the entire side of the flip-flop. It is here that an adjustable puffer is attached at the heel that transforms the model into a sneaker. “The Havaianas Zip Top Market has the most disruptive design we have ever created for the brand,” says the footwear manager, industrial and 3D design of Havaianas, Leonardo Boin.

Just like the first collab with Market (the sandals with thermochromic technology), this new model emerged after Mike Cherman's visit to Brazil to get to know the headquarters and factories of Havaianas. The entire creative process of this collab was done collaboratively between the Havaianas and Market teams, the product catches attention for its multifunctionality and ergonomics, being useful for various environments and situations.

The collaboration was also presented at the activation of the first edition of Sounds By Nottshesamo, an event that explores music and art and interacts with fashion and style in an engaging way.

The official launch of the Havaianas Zip Top Market, began on October 24, at Digital Flagship.
