Iconic Skate Shoes Are Revived in Vans' 50th Anniversary Pro Classics Collection

Wrapping up the 50th anniversary celebrations of Vans' "Off The Wall" heritage, the original action sports brand and the #1 skate shoe manufacturer revives the most revered models launched between 1989 and 1999 in the final part of the commemorative Pro Classics collection celebrating 5 decades of Vans, now available in Brazil.
A legend within the world of skate shoes and an icon in its own right, the incredible Full Cab is back in the Pro Classics lineage.

Originally launched in 1989, the model signed by Steve Caballero revolutionized the history of skate shoes by inspiring street skaters with a clever innovation: customizing shoes by cutting half of the upper off, giving rise to the idea of "lighter, faster, and better" Half Cab® in 1993. In its original form, the Full Cab pays homage to the pioneering model, replicating the colors, materials, and textures of the classic from 1989 while adding the current technologies developed by Vans Pro Skate.
The Full Cab Pro '89 is accompanied by a trio of iconic silhouettes, immortalized by skate legends Ray Barbee, John Cardiel, and Geoff Rowley.
These influential skaters brought personality, style, and performance to the three models that are reinvented in this final stage of Vans' 50th anniversary commemorative Pro Classics: the Old Skool Pro '92, the Chukka Pro '93, and the Rowley Pro '99, replicating their original colors and shapes from their respective eras.
In addition to bringing new life to these models that we love and remember fondly - and that were worn by true idols and innovators of skateboarding - the 50-year Pro Classics collection from Vans is complete with technological updates that ensure enhanced cushioning and durability, using ULTRACUSH™ HD impact-absorbing insoles and DURACAP™ rubber reinforcements in high-friction areas of the upper.
