Kelli Anderson Releases the Book that is a Camera
Accessing photography is simple and quick nowadays. You just need to use your cell phone camera, and instantly, in the most practical way possible, you can take a photo.
Unlike today, taking a photo was not that easy. The first photograph on record took about 8 hours to capture.
After scientific and technological advances, practicality slowly began to reach the world of photography, which was starting to gain more followers around the globe.
Inspired by the processes of analog photography, artist Kelli Anderson released the pop-up book "This Book is a Camera". The book provides, step by step, how the pinhole camera contained within works, teaching the reader how to use it to create images that can then be developed.
The work resulted from several months of study, resulting in a combination of design, science, and functionality.
The book is now on sale at Kelli's website for the price of $30.
