New Balance launches a new silhouette from the lifestyle line: WRPD Runner

The New Balance has just launched the WRPD Runner, a new silhouette in its lifestyle segment. The model stands out mainly for its futuristic design, complemented by the brand's cutting-edge performance technology, the FuelCell, present in the midsole. Thus, the WRPD Runner emerges to surpass the limits of the casual silhouettes already produced by New Balance. Its distorted construction boldly recreates the patterns already developed by the brand over its history of more than 100 years.

This futuristic design concept is referenced by the asymmetrical lines, which have been sculpted and exaggerated in this model to bring a touch of modernity. “The WRPD Runner is a new concept driven by the unique space where style and performance meet. The upper was designed with a focus on simplicity and quality in a refined manner, while the midsole carries our cutting-edge performance technology, with the FuelCell. The fluid lines of the midsole blend with the abstract nature of the futuristic design of the upper, evoking a strong sense of movement,” said Charlotte Lee, senior footwear designer at New Balance.

Among the details that stand out in this new casual silhouette from New Balance, the upper includes references to the brand's iconic performance models. The midsole, which carries the FuelCell performance technology, has reinforced cushioning at the rear and exaggerated design in the heel area. Finally, the outsole reinforces the modern look and sense of movement of the WRPD Runner through its distorted and wavy lines.

A colorway “Sea Salt” comes to ensure that the WRPD Runner matches numerous casual looks with a bolder and more futuristic approach, for various occasions. The WRPD Runner will be available starting today at the New Balance e-commerce and in specialized stores.
