Nike presents the new BeTrue 2020 collection inspired by LGBTQIA+ Pride.

In the month of June, LGBTQIA+ Pride is celebrated, and this year's Nike BeTrue collection arrives in Brazil with new offerings to honor this date.

The inspiration from the representation of the community and the power it carries has resulted in a line of timeless and vibrant clothing and footwear. Reflecting the same power of the movement, the silhouettes in the collection express different periods and settings in time and create a line that brings unified strength in diversity.

For Nike, these expressions include the Nike Air Force 1, the Nike Air Max 2090, the Nike Air Deschutz and the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37. The classic Air Force 1, in its first BeTrue edition, features a 10-color branding inspired by the More Colour, More Pride flag, introduced in Philadelphia in 2017. To give visibility to the black movement within the LGBTQIA+ community, the colors of the flag have been expanded by adding black and brown stripes. The white leather upper features tailored details and an iridescent outline Swoosh – meaning it reflects the colors of the rainbow.

In addition to the sneaker models, the collection will also include garments: shorts, cropped t-shirts, and others with colorful rainbow prints that honor the LGBTQIA+ community and those willing to take pride in who and what they represent.

The clothing items will be available on nike.com starting on 06/22. The models Air Force 1 and Air Deschutz will be available on the SNKRS platform starting on 06/22 at 10 AM. The Air Max 2090 and Air Zoom Pegasus 37 models will only be available on 07/18.

*10% of the sales from the collection’s products on Nike.com will be donated to the Casa Florescer institution, which supports transvestite and transgender women.
