The Supreme's cupid is not made of gold, but it costs as much as if it were.

Among the t-shirts paying homage to Ol' Dirty Bastard and cars in collaboration with Hot Wheels, a ceramic statue in the shape of Cupid caught the attention of those passing their eyes over the items from the latest drop of Supreme.

It is no longer news that the brand launches unconventional items amidst its collections. Such creations seem like a tasteless capitalist joke that proves and reinforces Supreme's power as the holder of the title of the most powerful logo in the fashion industry, according to a study conducted last year by Lyst. Barbara Kruger may hate them, but the truth is that Supreme mocks consumerism, just like the artist who inspired the famous box logo.

About R$11,500 for the handcrafted porcelain statue. Would you pay?

The angel, completely handcrafted, from the collection of the material to the mold and painting, was produced by Meissen, a company specialized in porcelain founded in 1708 in Europe as the first on the continent to work in the field that, at the time, was dominated by products coming from China. The oldest pieces made by the brand are sold at auctions for prices between $1,000 and $8,000 (about R$30,000).

The product was launched today for $3,000 and already reaches a resale value of $5,845 (about R$22,400) on StockX.

So, if you believe in the hype, have the equivalent of a cheap car left in your bank account, and like to spend your money on anything related to Supreme, this is your golden opportunity. Otherwise, a trip to Aparecida do Norte solves your problem for much less.
