Patta and Umbro join forces in a project dedicated to the Favela Street foundation
In an Olympic year, the Dutch Patta joined forces with Umbro to support a special project of the Favela Street foundation.
The initiative aims to raise funds for the realization of a women's soccer championship in Rio de Janeiro, the host city of the Olympic games in Brazil. One of the goals of the act is to show that, both on and off the field, women deserve the same respect as men, positively teaching girls to become strong examples within their community.
As part of the campaign, a collection of soccer jerseys has been developed that will be auctioned off on July 1st at X Bank, in Amsterdam.
A total of nine exclusive jerseys produced by Umbro in partnership with Patta will be available for bidding.
The line consists of three jerseys in different colors (white, red, and navy), with the pieces featuring patches and the logos of both brands involved in the project.
All the money raised will be directed towards the realization of the street soccer tournament Favela Champions.
