São Paulo is voted the 10th most influential city in the world of arts.

Ending the year with good news, the city of São Paulo was elected the 10th most influential city in the art world in 2015.
The survey was conducted by Artsy, a platform aimed at promoting art to anyone with internet access, teaching from history to what is necessary to know to become a collector, also covering events, curating, and partnering with various galleries and institutions around the world.
For the analysis, data such as the number of museums, galleries, fairs, and plastic art exhibitions, among other criteria, were used.
São Paulo has more than 40 active art galleries, in addition to 10 museums dedicated to visual arts, giving the city the best ranking among Latin American cities.
