"This business is the first step in transforming Arezzo&Co into a brand management platform."
Alexandre Birman in an interview with Brazil Journal
Arezzo&Co owns the brands Arezzo, Schutz, Anacapri, Alexandre Birman, Fiever, and Alme. Currently, the holding company has more than 630 franchises, 45 own stores, and supplies 2,600 multi-brand clients.
Vans has four owned outlets, three franchises, an e-commerce platform, and about a thousand points of sale in Brazil. Birman intends to increase local production of the brand's items - which currently have 60% of the goods imported. To achieve this, the businessman will use Arezzo&Co's suppliers in the Vale dos Sinos, Rio Grande do Sul.
The contract, valid for five years, allows Arezzo&Co to open and operate its own stores, franchise, and make agreements with authorized resellers.
