ASICS and illustrator Yu Nagaba come together for another collaboration
The Japanese illustrator Yu Nagaba teams up with ASICS to present two new collaborative models.
The concept of the collaboration focuses on young people overflowing with the energy to shape the next era on the Tokyo stage, projecting the passage of time and its various views of the city. The art of Yu Nagaba featuring boys and girls appears in each item, and the collection, while simple, conveys a message.

The new GEL-PTG ™ is an everyday sneaker from the Sportstyle category, based on the design of the basketball shoe FABRE POINTGETTER S ™ released in 1983. The TARTHER MAGIC ™, also from the Sportstyle category, is a reimagining of a lightweight and breathable running shoe for elite athletics that was introduced in 1996. The heel of the GEL-PTG ™ is reinforced with ASICS's FuzeGEL ™ sponge cushioning system. Each side is decorated with embroidered artwork in addition to the iconic ASICS stripes.
The TARTHER MAGIC ™ sneaker features an open mesh for excellent breathability - the toe box includes an embroidered boy and girl, and lace details have been added.
The two new models in collaboration with Yu Nagaba will be available for purchase starting October 28, on the ASICS e-commerce site and at Your ID, with sizes ranging from 36 to 43 and prices starting at 499.99.
