Self-esteem, fashion, and collaborative work; what lies behind the video 1NOJO by KK.
The main idea behind the single 1NOJO by the artist KK, a 19-year-old from São Paulo, is the exaltation of image and self-esteem. "The 1nojo kit" is the expression of those who feel confident in their way of dressing and expressing themselves to the world.
The sound that started about a year ago has the musical production of Li-o and from the beginning, according to the author, had the need for visual appeal. What KK keeps in mind to project in his image revolves around the same authenticity and truth present in the music, always aiming to value our cultural production even while in a global context, which is why all the fashion brands and accessories he used in the clip are national: PIET, Cemfreio, Trendt, and Skull.
The clip revolves around a gathering among friends depicting the experiences of a group of young people from the independent scene, who articulate through the city to develop their artistic work, always collaboratively. A great example is JP, who was behind the camera, signing the photographic direction. The frequent collaborator photographer of NOTTHESAMO, in previous experiences met KK; until then, JP had not participated in the execution of any music videos, and together they created "1NOJO".
With the participation also of the director of photography Miguel Rodrigues, the makeup artist Morgana Monaco, the lighting direction of João Miller, and the finishing by Banzai Works, all professionals who believed in the artist's vision, which shows the importance of collaborative work for the execution of independent projects.
