In addition to the shows, talks were part of the Maze Fest program. Themes such as female presence in streetwear, the relationship between streetwear and sneaker culture (with our columnist Marco Grilo) and skateboarding as a tool for transformation and social inclusion guided the conversations.

The talk with Lance Mountain - a living legend of skateboarding and founder of the brand The Film, one of the most relevant in the years - was followed by a signing session, complementing the launch of his new collaboration with Nike: a Jordan 1 Low SB inspired by a video part in which the skater wears a sneaker of each color.

Maze Street Ages

The Maze Street Ages championship, inspired by four decades of skateboarding, took place for the first time at the event. The competition featured a unique format and honored, from the 70s onward, the pioneers of Dogtown to the 2000s in four events inspired by and judged by the tricks and styles of each era.

Among the skaters who participated are Felipe Gustavo, Felipe Ortiz, Gabriel Fortunato, JP Dantas, Klaus Bohms, Luiz Apelão, Lucas Xaparral, Tiago Lemos, Yuri Facchini, among others.

The Maze Street Ages was divided into 5 stages, with a total prize of R$20,000.00. The champions of each phase won R$4,000.00 and, in addition to the cash prize, an extra prize worth R$1,000.00 in all stages to reward the best style in reflecting the visual of the eras.
