The American brand starts this year to bring to Brazil its exclusive collaborations with international artists and brands. The first of them, with designer Diane von Furstenberg, is already available at Cartel 011.

Check below for a little more about each of them and their creators.

Diane von Furstenberg

The designer, born in Brussels, is also an economist and a naturalized American. Considered one of the most important fashion creators of the 70s and 80s, she created the power rings (rings with large stones) in partnership with the Brazilian H.Stern and also the Wrap Dress in 1972. In 2010 she opened her first store in Latin America and partnered with C&A and H&M.

The Rolling Stones

The British rock band formed in 1962 is considered one of the greatest, oldest, and most successful musical groups of all time. The band and its members occupied a prominent position in the musical and behavioral changes of the 1960s and are often associated with the counterculture, rebellion, and youth of the era.

Vexx

The Belgian artist redefines the boundaries of creativity - his dreamlike and vibrant doodle-style art perfectly combines imagination with the contemporary by creating a colorful cast of characters inspired by childhood influences, art history, and street culture. Vexx made Skechers his personal canvas, seamlessly fusing his unique "doodles" with our iconic footwear to create a collection filled with vibrant colors and imagery.

Snoop Dogg

The American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor collaborated with Skechers designers to develop his own collection. The first combines the innovative comfort of the brand with Snoop's unique vision. For Snoop's exclusive Dr. Bombay, he brought onboard a culturally relevant graphic character that embodies the entire Snoop experience.

Ricardo Cavolo

The Spanish artist, as a child, used to create many stories. And instead of writing them, he drew them. Today, his portfolio features public murals and art exhibitions around the world, from Paris to Moscow, from Mexico City to Hong Kong. His work includes illustrations, publications, fashion collaborations with major brands like Gucci, Starbucks, Mercedes, Stance, etc.

JGoldcrown

A self-taught muralist from London, he was a fashion photographer for 7 years. After that, he took a break and went to Africa to make the documentary “To Die No More,” which highlighted the AIDS/HIV epidemic. In 2007, he re-entered the fashion world. In 2014, he started the interactive workshop The Shed. By 2015, he had his first show in Miami Basel, where his work sold out in 2 hours. The renowned international muralist James Goldcrown brings his iconic #Lovewall heart designs to Skechers.

Jen Stark

Originally from Miami, the artist is known for her exceptional work across various mediums. She has held exhibitions worldwide, including New York, Chicago, Thailand, Canada, etc. Jen recently made history as the first female artist to be among the 10 best-selling NFT creatives on the Foundation. Her work consists of mesmerizing optical art that employs psychedelic tones, mimicking patterns and fluids reminiscent of nature's captivating motives. Her vibrant and abstract illusions have adorned countless murals and decorated the walls of art museums and galleries around the world.
